How to convert mp3 file into iphone ringtone
- Open iTuen. Then click on iTunes menu and select Preferences
- Under general tab , click on import Settings
- Select ACC encorder under import using
- Select High quality 128 kbps under setting
- Click OK button. Then click OK button.
- Right mouse click on mp3 song in iTunes. If your mp3 file in Music folder under Library, just click Music folder.
- Select Get info when you use right mouse click on mp3 file. Click on OPTIONS.
- Put a check on start time. The start time should be zero.
- Put a check on stop time. The stop time should be 15 second. It can't be more than 15 second.
- Then click OK button
- Right mouse click on the same mp3 file. Then select Create ACC version.
- You will see it generate a new file .m4a
- Drag the new file .m4a to your desktop
- Rename the new file .m4a to .m4r. You can use right mouse click to rename the file.
- Delete the .m4a file in your iTunes
- Connect your iphone to your computer
- Click on File of iTune. Then select add Library. Then you choose the new file .m4r.
- Click on your phone icon. Then click ringtone. Then put a check next to the new file .m4r
- Then click apply button in iTunes.
- Then click sync
Then open your iphone
- Go to setting
- Click on sound
- Click on Ringtone
- Then put a check on a new file .m4r
Note: If your mp3 file has a name track5.mp3, you will see it will convert to track5.m4a .
Then you can rename the track5.m4a to track5.m4r . The track5.m4r will be your ringtone that you need to sync to your phone. Before you sync to your phone, you must delete track5.m4a. If you don't delete track5.m4a, you can't sync it to your phone.
